gift...

So in my mad rush to post on Saturday, I totally forgot to show you me, in my new glasses! I am so sorry! I am not 100% sure that I love them, so feel free to let me know if they do or don't work. And, I don't think they fit right, I already need to have adjustments. Here you go~ me in my SAHM getup, a tracksuit and in my kitchen, LOL! Nate is quite the photographer (rolls eyes). Jeeze~ just realized how long my hair is getting. Must take care of that very soon!

I sat down and scrapped Seth's 18 mos milestone yesterday... such an "interesting" age! Journaling reads: 18 months old, and such a joy. Your vocabulary is exploding, and some of your favorite words are ball, hot, puppy, and up. You play with a ball endlessly, and have just become interested in Sesame Street. You still love bathtime, and your new trick of getting into the fridge keeps mommy on her toes!

Jen Wilson's Miracle From Within. Holly McCaig's mini numbers and brads. Ali Folendore's Bling Flower, Ange Dawn's stitched alpha.

I don't think I have to mention the fact that we found Seth in the margerine again this weekend... with it smeared on the couch and entertainment center.... (sigh). More Experienced Mommies~ when does this end?

I have New Items Up at A Cherry on Top!

Robin's Nest ( Available HERE) is a digital kit featuring hues found in nature. This kit will suit layouts of both girls and boys. Included in Robin's Nest are 8 textured papers, 3 decorative brads, 3 twills, 3 tabs, 1 tied twill, 1 glass flower, 1 flower stamp, 1 frame, word art, and metal hardware. Also included is a full alpha, numeral, and symbol on textured paper strips.

Sunrise Surprise ( Available HERE) is a mini digital kit. It features the rich hues of a sunrise, and would suit both a girl or boy's layout. Included in Sunrise Surprise are 4 textured papers, 1 floral bubble, 1 tag, 1 twill, and 1 frame.

Now... I promised you a treat.. just for my lovely Blog Faithfuls! I have uploaded to YouSendIt, the above Sunrise Suprise kit. But only once, which means, its only avaiable for the first 25 DL's.

Sorry! All gone! (Go check out ACOT)

Please only DL if you plan on using it, and not just b/c you like to stash away gifts. Also, if you DL~ leave me a note! I'm all about the love today! And if you use it, I want to see!!!

If you don't get it for free, don't be upset, it is only $1.50 at ACOT, a very reasonable low price.

Last, but not least, 1 more in my sister's series~ the last couple tomorrow! This one is my favorite!

My Bro-in-law was in the cab of the truck saying "treat" to get Asher to look up there. So much fun! Have a great Monday ya'll!

Thanks for the Sunrise treat! Robins Nest looks great - I'm definitely going to have to put it on my wish list. Seth's 18 month layout is adorable. The picture is stunning!!

Can I just say I LOVE your blog! I actually haven't had time to check for a long time and was pleased to find some great new posts. I love hearing about your upbringing and stories of spiders. My hubby is the one afraid of them. It's the only time I've heard him scream like a girl - LOL! Want to say thanks for kit! I'm still very new but this looks very easy and I'll make it a priority to scrap it this week!

Thanks so much for the set! Can't wait to use it. And here's another vote for the glasses. I think they look great on you.

As for Seth and the fridge...wish I had the answer for you. At that age, DS (3.5) started climbing the kitchen chairs and standing on the table. The only thing that worked was to tip the chairs over so he couldn't climb. It was always fun to have someone drop in that didn't understand toddlers. LOL I got some seriously strange looks. Meh, they have kids now so I'm betting they get it. ;)

The best hope I can give you is, "This too shall pass." Of course it passes to the next thing, but that's another story. :)

Just found your blog from another one. Your photography is fabulous! Love the glasses - they look great!

You look adorable in your new specs! They look very similar to mine, I think!

Beautiful new layout! I like the large, turned stacked papers!

Not to discourage you, but my 2 1/2 year old still sneaks stuff out of the fridge! He's not so into smearing it everywhere, but he does like to help himself! LOL
Just repeat the mommy mantra "it's just a stage, it's just a stage.."

Wow! Robin's Nest is gorgeous! So is the Sunrise one! Thank you for gifting that to us! I love it!
I just posted a page at TDC with your April Day kit. I don't have the link handy, but I'm sure you'll see it! LOL

Cute picture! Looks a little naughty but I love that he was saying 'treat' to the dog! LOL

I have been a lurker for some time... thanks for the present- I am struggling with my Easter Card, and these colors are certainly inspiring! Maybe they will help- I will link you when I get my LO completed.

Hey Andrea! Glad you are back home to play with us! I too am looking for new glasses and from what I am seeing, your style is what is "in". I have seen however women wearing purple or green and I just can't go there. My hair color is the same as yours and our skin coloring is about the same (I am white as a ghost, need to get outside, lol) so your frames would be the ones I would have chosen. I definitely love the shape on you. It frames your face nice. Give them a week, that's what return policies are for, right?

I absolutely LOVE the photo of your sister and BIL in the truck! That is definitely a keeper. Andrea... That picture could be framed and sold!!! The dog is precious and his face is like "can we go now...." too much!!! I am telling you... that is either print ad material or framed art material! You go girlie!

Thank you so much for the gift! And as far as when it ends.. it doesn't. You can't help but admire their sense of adventure. At least it wasn't an entire bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup. Or vaseline. That one is real hard to get out.

My son is turning three this week, and tonight I found him squatting ON the kitchen counter with a bag of chocolates from behind the plates in the cabinet. How did he even know they were there? Boys are trouble! :)

I think you look good in your new glasses.

Your new layout of Seth is so cute, turned out really nice.

I love the colors in both of your new kits. I think I saw a layout you did with the sunrise one somewhere earlier tonight and liked it then.

Thanks for the gift. Can't wait to play with it.

Aw, bummed I missed your freebie. But I didn't know that Robin's Nest kit was yours! I noticed it somewhere and thought it was so pretty! Gotta pick that up sometime.

I think you look adorable in your glasses! LOL about the margerine. I'm not sure when that stage ends because McKenna didn't go through it. But my nephew is totally into sneaking into the fridge and stealing EGGS! LOL! So you're not alone.
