Are Your Taxes Done?

Ours aren't... not quite, but almost! We worked on our taxes for a while yesterday. Did you know that Birth Control and Co-Pays are deductable? (well, for clergy anyways... maybe not you all...) We have our Cell phones to deduct too, but can't find out where to do that? Any tips? We are trying out Turbo Tax for the first time.

ALSO~ CALLING ALL COOKS! I am in need and have been looking for an awesome Chicken Cordon Bleu recipe and a Fudge recipe! Please email me yours at andreaburnsct@hotmail.com I have been using frozen CCB, but would like to make my own, and just tried a fudge recipe... that was a disaster!

The fudge I tried last night, used the term "bring it to the soft ball stage" and I had no idea what that meant. But I think I understand better now from a post at 2Ps... except, mine boiled over! I have the hardest time getting milk to simmer, and NOT boil over... maybe thats why last night's fudge didn't turn out. Its really gooey, even after being put in the fridge...

I am so happy that you all liked your glitter flowers yesterday! How much fun is this new trend? Well here is another gift for you~ a shooting star!

Haven't had any Scrapping Mojo lately... I did get out and shoot some pics the other day though. I was hoping to catch some awesome photos of Seth and his reflection in the puddles... but as you can see, he had a quick meltdown!

I will be shooting again to catch the ever elusive reflection!

So, even though my mojo is absent, my Creative Team has been rocking my world! They reallyare just the coolest bunch of girls, and have really created wonderful peices of art with my kits. So I am going to shamelessly show some recent ones off!

Oh the star is right up my alley!! hehe I get stressed out when I'm dealing with candy making. My favorite fudge recipe is the one on the side of the "Fluff" canister. It's what I use religiously! Good luck!

Oh I love all those LO's! You're CT is GREAT! How cute is Seth in that raincoat and fire-engine red boots! Hopefully you'll get that elusive reflection pic soon! Cannot wait to see how that comes out!

Thanks for the shooting star!

As far as, fudge my husband makes it. He said the soft ball stage is when you drop a little mixture in a bowl of water and you can make it into a little soft ball with your fingers. He puts so much work into making the fudge. I really like his fudge, but the easier fudge recipes that the others are talking about taste good, too.

Do you like peanut butter? I have a great recipe (that I made up) for a peanut butter bark. It kind of has a fudge consistency. Let me know if you want to try it. It was a huge hit at Christmas.

Thanks for more glitter!

MAKE fudge? I thought other people did that so we wouldn't have to? ;)

I got my fudge recipe from good ole Betty Crocker cookbook. I think it was a peanut butter/chocolate fudge but you could hardly taste the peanut butter. Easy to make and it worked every time!

I love those pictures of seth!!! And your daffodils look so purdy!!! My fav. flower. I am so upset that I won't be able to plant mine until the fall to bloom next spring. I bought some mini ones, and I am sad. The first flowers I have ever killed and they are my favs. LOL Hopefully that isn't a sign to future gardening days. It wasn't like that bfore, I hope it isn't always like that. I love your glitter star!
