Glittertastic...

Happy Monday everyone... Isn't that a sort of an oxymoron? Anyways, I still feel like crud. Not too terribly sick, just sore throat and ears, and my body feels worn down and heavy. I didn't roll out of bed till 9:45 this morning, and I could go take a nap now.

I learned how to Glitter digitally! How much fun is that! So~ Just for you~

Come back, I'll have more Glitter Gifts throughout the week for you! Leave me some love if you take it please!

I have been thinking alot about Easter lately. Our closest family, Nate's parents, will be spending this Easter with my SIL and her fam, so it was just going to be the 3 of us here... all alone. Then I had a bright idea in church yesterday. We have a few older widows and widowers, and I am going to extend them an inviation to come eat with us. That way no one will be lonely on such a joyous and blessed holiday. I have already invited and gotten a "Yes" from one lady, and there are a couple more folks I need to call this afternoon.

As for the menu, I was thinking Chicken Cordon Bleu, Potatoes, fresh green beans, and a Strawberry Cobbler. WDYT? I think it sounds yummy!

Alright, thats all I can muster today. I am going to go lay down for a bit.

Oh Andrea! You are so thoughtful. Don't you know that you are making their day by inviting them over! I have such a heart for the elderly, probably because I was so close to my Pop-pop & Gram (my great grandparents) growing up. That just tickles me that you are planning such an evening!!
And your tulips are so cute. Perfect for a spring or Easter page!! Hope you feel better today!!

The glitter looks great! Can't see what else you are coming up with! I think your Easter plan sounds great! I am sure that it will really lift their spirits that you invited them for dinner! And yum, I love chicken cordon blue! Now I just want to learn how to make it because it is so yummy! Or make it just like the shawans man. LOL I think it sounds like a great idea and I am sure they will love you for it!

Thank you for the glittery tulips! Your menu sounds yummy, although Easter for me always means ham and deviled eggs. Not quite sure why...

Happy Easter!
My 3 year-old saw the flowers when she walked by the computer and climbed right up in my lap because she wanted to look at them some more.

Your menu sounds awesome!
