Puddles....

Guess who woke up this morning an hour and a half early crying for "mama... MAMA" burning up with a fever? Yep, my poor little guy. He felt warm when we put him to bed last night, so I gave him some Tylenol then, and I gave him some more this morning. Right now he is playing quietly, so hopefully his fever was one of those random fevers, and he's fine now.

Nate and I are kind of bummed, and we have all of our fingers and toes crossed. As you know (what? I've not mentioned it yet? ;) we head to the beach next week, and because of Hurricane Ernesto, the Extended Forecast is already calling for daily scattered thunderstorms. As Seth would say..."Oh Man!" We've been waiting for this since last May, and I desperately want to have a good time. So I am praying that there is some sun in there... and that "scattered" really does mean scattered!

I've been thinking about painting... well OK, I've been thinking of NATE painting this weekend, that way it airs out while we are gone. I can't decide if I want to do all the walls in a khaki/ tan color, or 3 walls tan, with the wall behind the bed burgandy. Suggestions? Would that look stupid?

Anyways, I leave you today on this wet Thursday with a storyline from the other day. Hopefully it makes you giggle like it does me!

I've started a new kit... and I'll leave you with the name, maybe tomorrow you'll get a sneak peek at the color swatch ;) Its called Golden Glory.

PS~ Night 2 on the new mattress has been FABULOUS! I LOVE it!

Wet Wednesday....

Look at me!! I scrapped! Aren't you so proud? I know, I know, it has been a tremendously long time... This summer has been somewhat of a break for me. I haven't designed as much, I haven't scrapped as much. However, the last week or so, I've been wanting to scrap... so I look through my pictures, and there isn't anything! Turns out I've taken a bit of a break from my photography too, LOL! So yesterday, between drizzels, Seth and I ventured outdoors, and I captured some darling shots, if I say so myself, LOL! :)

Something Sweet~

Journaling reads: I can’t make you sit still for a second. I had to bribe you with candy, just to get these shots. That look on your face is your mmm candy face. It was the promise of something sweet. Which is exactly what these pictures remind me of. These are the promise of something sweet. The goodness yet to come. The small boy ready to emerge to the man you’ll be. Yep, that’s my promise of something sweet. Love Mommy.

And just because I think he's a cutie pie, here are a couple pictures close up... what a doll! I know that you all have missed seeing him so much ;)

As you can probably gather by my title, Seth's rainboots, and his wet overalls, it has been pretty soggy here the last few days. Seth and I are feeling a bit stir crazy. But it doesn't really bother me all that much, because hopefully it means it is nice and sunny next week when we head to the beach!

Recap....

Pregnancy Wise:

I've been feeling OK. I've been really fatigued, and my gag reflex has been acting up. Haven't thrown up or anything, but its still kicking in. It's especially active when I'm brushing my teeth! Weird!

I had my 2nd OB Appnt yesterday. I've gained 3 lbs in the last 4 weeks (ack!). Heartbeat was great, 168 beats per minute. So far faster than Seth.... My blood pressure was 94 over 66, and thus provoked Nate to ask me "Are you sure you're alive?" LOL! I just have lower blood pressure.

My Dr. was actually out delivering (again!) So I actually go back in 2 weeks to see her.

So, I must walk more and eat less. I thought I was doing OK... but apparently not!

There are a couple things I forgot to mention yesterday in my mattress tirade. First was my birthday dinner! Nate and I had a great time. I LOVE PF Chang's, if you haven't heard me mention this already ;) If you've never been, but know of one near you, GO, I say, GO!

We started with Shrimp Dumplings, pan seared, and with the Spring Rolls. Then I ordered my favorite, Chang's Spicy Chicken, and Nate tried a new dish, the Better Lemon Chicken. Seth shared all of this with us. We finished with the Great Wall of Chocolate Cake. One piece, and between the 3 of us, we couldn't finish it! It was GINORMOUS. It was also rich and decadent, this huge slice of chocolate cake laying in raspberry sauce. YUMM!

And do you want to now something funny? In church on Sunday morning, another couple walked up to us, and invited us to eat there again this coming weekend! LOL! I said SURE! We'd LOVE too! I can't wait (again, LOL!)

Second: You know that Nate is a Youth Pastor. Well, numbers have dwindled a bit this summer, which is to be expected. Sunday night was awesome though! We had 25 kids come to Youth Group, and there were lots of new faces! It was a great night, we had fun, and Nate had a good message. Afterwards Nate and I had planned a Back To School Cookout at our house. Most of them came back to our house and ate lots of hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and brownies. When we were done eating we played a rousing game of Battle of The Sexes, and everyone had a great time! Nate and I were really encouraged by this, and we hope to see it continue... especially the new faces.

There are a few schools in this area, and most of them started Monday or today. There is one last school that doesn't start till next week. Other than that....

Nothing much new here. I'm stuck at home all day waiting for the delivery men and the new mattress. I made egg salad for sandwiches today, and I am honestly looking forward to lunch, LOL! I think this afternoon Nate and I are going to Lowe's to look at paint swatches, so he can paint the bedroom this weekend before we head to the beach.

Pillowtop Evilness...

A few posts back, I titled my message as "Pillowtop Goodness." Truth no more, I dare say. I gave it 6 days for the memory foam to work wonders and send me off to the Land of Nod peacefully and serenely.

I hated every night. I felt like I was sleeping unevenly. I felt like since we had decided to move from a Full size to a Queen size, this mattress was a moot point. I felt that it hindered that extra space. "Stuff" of mine was sunk further than others, and turning in my sleep was a chore.

So this morning we returned said mattress. Thank goodness for a 30 Day Guarantee. Then we went to the local Mattress place (same place we bought the Low-profile boxspring) and looked around. And laid around. And laid and looked some more.

I found one that I liked. It is called the Sealy Firm Plush. It is a firm mattress, with plush quilting on top. It is NOT a pillowtop. We ordered it, and it gets delivered tomorrow, and these people will haul away the old Full set. This was our last option... b/c these people don't take back returns.

Want to know something else funny? This huge mess saved us $100. Why such a mess? Well, I had also bought a new quilt for the new bed, and the Quenn didn't fit the Pillowtop. So I had to exchange for the King. And since the pillowtop was taken back, and the new mattress is more normal sized, I just had to exchange it again, back to the queen!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

That is it above... Its from Linen & Things, and I love it. On the small pillow I had our monogram embroidered. If you can't tell, Burgandy is the main color, my favorite. So anyways, thats the mess. I pray to God that it's finally done and over with!

Off to the Baby Dr. for a check up! Details tomorrow!

Happy Birthday to Me part 2.....

You ask, and you shall receive! LOL~ some of you have asked for pictures, so here they are...

This is what the bed looked like the first day. That is my shepherd Sadie sitting, and you can see the mattress waaaay over the top of her head. Nate had to help me in. Of course, if you've been reading, you know that we have remedied it buying a thinner boxspring. I'll show before and after pics of the room once we repaint and get curtains up, and new lamps.

Here is the only picture taken of me on my birthday... and I have the bunny ears. (I can't believe you wanted to see this Melanie & Julie! Meanies! ;) These are some of the Youth Group that we work with, and a couple of the sponsors that help Nate and I. You may be able to recognize a couple from the Six Flags pictures....

I was also kidding yesterday when I said I couldn't find pictures of my Birthday Maternity outfit. I searched again yesterday and found the items! I noticed a bunch of new stuff out too, so maybe I found them because they are technically "new items."

So here you go... this is it! Skirt, and the 2 pieces that will make a twin set. There is some sparkly beading on the cami.

And while I was looking for the Birthday outfit, I couldn't help but notice the new items! So I ordered some new things for this winter. Love that bit of Birthday money!

Comfy sweatsuit for those cold, stay-at-home-mom kinda days.

Pajamas... the blue set is more for nursing and post baby, but I figure I can also wear it now, pre-big-belly. If its for nursing, there is room in the belly a bit, right? The flannel set is an iffy... I got all these things at Motherhood.com and some of their sleepwear is hit or miss. I have some from the last time around that fit great, and a set that was bizarro tight in the thigh area. I really hope that these fit well.

I am excited about this suit! I plan on wearing it to church, but how cute is that? I can't wait!

How sweet were you all on my birthday? Incredible, and I thank you! Especially to 2 very sweet gals who made me cards... I am featuring them and showing them off!

From JennStar~

And from Melanie (lemonyr)

Thank you girls from the bottom of my heart! ((HUGS))

TGIF!!! Happy Friday everyone!

Just a Thursday....

Last day for my 30% off sale at A Cherry on Top! Check it out! I don't have sales very often, so you should take advantage of the deals! :)

My birthday yesterday... was "OK." Nate gave me the maternity outfit I picked out and the Elsie Flannigan Scrap Challenges book. So far, it has some REALLY neat ideas and some great eye candy!

It felt like any other day, filled with routine and such. And it didn't help that in the only picture taken of me, I am the lovely receiver of some bunny ears.

And as I washing my face I flushed my make-up down the toilet. I have this shelf over the toilet, and I knocked it down as it was mid flush.

You should have heard me... "oh NOOOOOOOOOOO."

Hopefully my birthday dinner this weekend makes it up and it all gets better.

Pregnancy wise I am feeling OK too. Still very tired. Not too nauseus anymore. I have a bit of a pouch now, but it just looks like I'm fat, LOL! I'll post a belly pic... once I finally have a real belly.

Today is just another day, I need to go grocery shopping. We are down to bare bones.

Happy Birthday To Me.....

Happy Birthday to me! A nice big round number of 27. 27? How the heck.... where did the time go? Is 30 really looming closely now....?

Wednesdays are kinda cruddy days to have birthdays, b/c Nate has to work, then there is church tonight. So we are celebrating this weekend. Haven't gotten a card or a present or anything yet... well OK I take that back, Nate got up early to make me french toast, so that was very nice! :)

(the pic to the above left is last years birthday picture... I am holding my traditional Dairy Queen Ice Cream Cake.)

Last night we bought the Low Profile boxspring, and the bed looks MUCH better now! So we were taking back the first boxspring and the store didn't want to take it back! They were arguing that it was a set we bought (even though we knew we bougt them as seperates) So we went back out to the truck we had borrowed, and I said, we need to talk to the managaer. Turns out we were right, they were seperates, so we were finally able to return the first. PHEW!

Last nights sleep was still "OK" I think I just have to get used to it... I'm giving it a couple more nights.

Nothing much to do today... I thought I'd give myself a mani/pedi. Nate is cooking his Cashew Chicken for dinner, and thats about it.

Here it is... one of my faveorite dishes... even better so, b/c Nate cooks it, LOL!

Cashew Chicken

2-3 boneless chicken breasts
1 egg white, lightly beaten
4 TBS cooking wine or sherry
2 tsp cornstarch
3 TBS vegetable oil
4 green onions, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
1 TBS finely chopped ginger root
1 TBS soy sauce
1/2 cup cashew nuts

Cut chicken into 1/2 inch cubes. Mix together egg white, half of cooking wine, and the cornstarch. Toss chicken in this mixture until evenly coated. Heat oil in a wok or large frying pan. Then add green onions, garlic, and ginger, and stir fry for 30 seconds. Add the chicken and cook for 2 minutes. Add remaining wine, soy sauce and stir well. Add the cashew nuts and cook for 30 seconds. Serve over hot cooked rice. green onions opt.

If any of you are interested... I posted my sister's engagement ring (they broke up, she's stuck with payments) on Ebay.... LOL! Look HERE.

ETA: this is not the same sister as the one with the truck and dog... I have 2 sisters, and the one with the pictures is married. The one from above is a county sherrif and still single. Thanks for the question Julie!

North Carolina Dreamin'.....

I am glad to be home. I just did a lot of traveling in a short time. About 1000 miles? 24 hours in a car at least, total.

What happened was, my grandmother was falling alot and her speech was slurred. So my grandpa took her to get a brain scan, with ultimately showed that her brain was fine. Other tests concluded that she was anemic and that her B12 was really low. So they are giving her some B12 shots.

She really should be walking with a cane, but my grandmother is too proud, and doesn't want to.I just get so nervous that I don't have forever with them... they are so precious to me, and they are getting older. I also LOVE the area that they love, in Durham, NC. I want to live there, it is home to me. Everytime I leave PA to go to my parents in MD or my grandparents in NC, I just hate the thought of returning to PA. NC is where I want to raise my kids.

Other than that...

I came home and Nate had assembled the bed and night stands for me... except the bed looks rediculous! We got a new boxspring and pillowtop mattress... but it is so high! It literally is up to Nate's belly button! He has to help me climb up!

So we did research, and we can return the 8 inch boxspring, and in its place buy a "low-profile" boxspring, which is only 5 inches. So it'll drop the bed a whole whopping 3 inches, LOL!

Also, my body wasn't used to the new mattress last night... it was lovely to lay on, but when I got up this morning my back was a teeney bit sore. I'll have to test it out a couple more days before I decide anything.

Pillowtop Goodness....

WooHoo! Don't forget! There is the Chick Flick Chat at The Digi Chick tonight, the movie of choice is Ever After! Come on over and have a good time! 10 pm EST!

So, I'm kinda peeved this morning. Someone was very recently dishonest with me, and I totally found out. It really just gets under my skin, that someone can't be straight with me. And its not even something thats a big deal! But please... I think I deserve the courtesy of honesty.

I am now one step closer to having my bedroom completed! We have the bed, we have yet to pick up our newly ordered side tables. Yesterday my parents took us and bought us a new Queen size mattress set... pillow top! YAY! It is the Birthday present for both Nate and I, and his Ordination gift.

Now all it needs is to get put together! I have unexpectedly decided to go out of town tomorrow. My grandmother is experiencing some health problems, and I'd like to visit her and help my grandfather out.

So while I am gone, Nate is going to assemble everything for me. I am even going today to pick out some paint swatches, b/c with the new bedding our walls now will NOT match, and Nate will paint while I am away.

I'll be home the day before my birthday, and what a great present! A new bedroom!

NEW at A Cherry on Top! A new collaborative kit called Adventurous Spirit~

I would LOVE to show you previews but blogger photo is down.... this is really starting to annoy me!

Check it out HERE at ACOT.

35 papers, 2 full alphas, Word art and doodles, basic fasteners including brads, eyelets, chipboard photo prongs and photo corners and a set of weathered photo corners with a brad and staple to match, 4 frames, several paper tags, several chipboard elements, a great assortment of ribbons and stitching including three tied bows, two raffia accents, and five full sized overlays.

The bright and bold colors make this an outstanding kit for scrapping the guys in your life, but it's versatile enough to use for just about anything. With this fabulous assortment of items, you're sure to go to this kit again and again for your pages

All Is Revealed.....

This weekend was so long and stressfull, and I am so thankful it is al over and that all has been revealed, LOL!

Saturday was one of the busiest I've ever had....

I:

~grocery shopped for the "pre-party" with family
~cleaned the house
~did yardwork while Nate mowed
~put together a powerpoint presentation (the story of Nate's life in pics) (this is what revealed our pregnancy to everyone!)
~finished and uploaded a new kit

I was exhausted by Sat. night. I haven't had a chance to respond to emails or anything... so please be patient :)

Last night the revealing of the pregnancy went well....What was supposed to happen was this...I put together this power point presentation of Nate's life in pictures. It was the last thing in the service. The 2nd to last slide was one of Seth in his I'm Gonna Be A Big Brother tee, and the words said

"Congrats Daddy!

We love you!
Love Andrea & Seth"

Then it was supposed to to go the last slide and it was a close up of the shirt with the words

"& Baby"

Except, for some reson that slide never showed up... who knows Nate gets up to say thanks and such, and he asks for the last slide to be brought back up. Then he goes, "Who can read the shirt?"
free image hosting

The lady behind me yells... "Andrea! I can read it!"
She spills it, and my family just gasps. My mom leaned over and hit my arm. Later she tells me that she thought maybe I was, after seeing me earlier that day she thought I looked "softer." So all in all, it went well, and now everyone knows, thank God!

Lucky....

Nate and I went shopping last night. I went looking for a maternity outfit that Nate could give me for my birthday, LOL! Found a very cute tan twinset to go with a chocolate skirt, hemmed in lace. The tank on the twinset has some beading, very pretty.

Then we wandered into Bombay, where we just bought our new bed a couple weeks back. They were having this HUGE 40% off anything sale, and we noticed the sidetables we wanted marked down to $175 each! We couldn't believe it, so we went ahead and ordered 2. Turns out they were mismarked down over 50% off! But the saleslady honored the mistake, and we basically bought one, got one free. You CAN'T beat that!

We had dinner at Panera's... yumm soup in a breadbowl. I just wish the breadbowl held a bit more soup. and I wish they offered the Potato soup everyday... I think its only a weekend soup, but it is my fave, followed by their chicken noodle soup.

Please join me next Tuesday, August 15th, for our summer "Chick Flicks" night chat at 10:00 pm est. The movie choice for this week is "Ever After" starring Drew Barrymore. If you haven't had a chance to attend one of our chats - this would be a great time to come! We have lots of fun and giggled with a few surprises! Hope to see you there!!

Well.. gotta run. I have some errands to do today and I have some work I need to finish!

Thursday, August 10, 2006

ideas.....

Did you know that it is my birthday in 13 days? And I have NO idea what I want for it. Nate keeps asking... and the best I can tell him right now is the new Elsie Flannigan Scrap Challenges book.... I mean I guess I can ask for a few maternity things, but ick. That means I have to go along to pick stuff out, and then pretend not to notice Nate paying for it, LOL!

I dunno.... any ideas?

I had been wanting some seamless paper for a backdrop for photography... but I dunno.... LOL! I don't have any bites for my business. The wedding consult decided to hire elswhere... it would be kinda big to store (and not to mention also expensive).

So I'm stuck. No ideas. What would be really awesome would be a Sony Viao laptop... but yeah I am completely dreaming!

Nate is taking today off and he is currently doing manly things in the garage with Seth. I heard the words "rotate tires" and I zoned out.

I am working on a kit, and have finished the papers, just need to do Embies and Alpha.

Has anybody been watching America's Got Talent? I am so happy that All That made it back into the Finals last night! I totally think they should have won the first time around over the yodeler. I think their routines are fresh and contemporary.

And HOORAY for Josh Blue! Awesome!

Alright Blog Peeps, enough rambling for Andrea today. I hope you all have a great day!

Six Flags: Kingdom Bound....

As you can tell, from my lack of posting yesterday.... we had a BLAST at the Six Flags: Kingdom Bound event. We actually left Sunday night, and spent the night in a hotel. Monday morning we got up and headed to the park. All day we (OK, really meaning the kids and Nate) rode rides, mostly roller coasters. I, sat and waited with Seth. That part of the day was long for me. You would be surprised with how many rides had No Pregnancy signs on them, warning you of the risks.
But I did risk it once. I did get on one ride that said No Preggos.
I dared my luck on the Carousel.
Looks real dangerous, 'eh? LOL! Seth though it was the greatest thing ever, he just laughed and laughed.
All day we kept seeing people covered in Blue Frog stickers and tattoos, and carrying these blue frog T-shirts.... and of course since Nate breeds these frogs, we were looking everywhere for the booth/ tent.
Late in the afternoon, we headed over the the Marketplace, where many Christian colleges, organizations, and vendors were set up with their wares. And there it was! The Blue Frog table! They explained they are a web hosting site, and we explained how we have a basement full of them... and they might call us later for some real frogs! We walked away with stacks of stickers, tattoos, and free T-shirts for all. Awesome. Nate is planning on giving some of that stuff away the next time he has a show.

Some of our kids, having a great time :)

Seth zonked out in the hot afternoon. He rarely falls asleep in public, but this time he couldn't resist, LOL!

After dinner we all headed over to the concert pavilion and had a great time listening to Audio Adrenaline and Casting Crowns. I didn't know this but Audio A is on their last leg, and will be retiring soon. The lead singer's voice is medically deteriorating. You could actually hear it while he sang, it was hoarse and raspy, and actually came in and out a couple times.

Casting Crowns was fantastic. They really are one of my fave Christian Bands, very worshipful, and meaningful lyrics. I was a little sad we couldn't stay for the whole concert, b/c we decided to leave at 10 pm... knowing we had a 4 hr drive ahead of us.

Seth expressing his delight and being silly :)

Nate and I took turns driving home, and we arrived home at about 2 am. We were exaughsted. We both slept in till 10 yesterday, but I was still too tired to do much of anything all day, thus the no post.

I did go get a trim last night, and my bangs cut back up. All those girls at the top, plus a couple more not pictured... we are talking of cutting our hair together for Locks of Love this Christmas.

Thanks for taking a peek!

Temp Folders.....

This is just a fun LO featuring Seth and his cousin and buddy Noah. They love each other so! My SIL took this pic of the boys at the 4th of July bash we have every year. I totally see the resemblance between these two cousins.

Credits: Andrea Burns' Seth's Charm kit at A Cherry on Top, Gina Miller's notebook paper, and 2Ps Ups and Downs Font.

Nate and I are stoked for 2 reasons today!

1) we are headed out tonight. We are taking some of the youth group to something called Kingdom Bound at the Six Flags in NY. Its going to be a day of rides and fun concerts. Casting Crowns are the main header tomorrow night, and I can't wait to see them, they are awesome! Of course, this really means, no real rides for me... but I'll do some kiddy rides with Seth.

2) We have been baffled why our computer has hardly anything on the hardrive... yet when we defrag, we are told there is only 7 GB of space! I have everything on my huge external HD.... so that is why we are baffled at all the memory gone. We found out today that it was our Temporary Folder! That sucker was holding 17 GB of absolutely nothing! Awesome... DELETE! Now I bet my PS won't freeze up so often!

Alrighty... my eyelids are drooping, and the couch is calling my name!

BTW~ Beth (of Scrapbooklab.com), I'm not sure how I can reach you... you can reach me at raggedy_andrea@hotmail.com.

(LOL... aren't you guys proud? I actually ran spell check on my entry today.... ;)

Seth's Charm....

The Outlander chat last night was a big hit! We chatted favorite scenes, pronunciations, our hubbies compared to Jamie ;) , theories, and us veterans gave away a few spoilers to the ones who hadn't read past 1 or 2 yet. We also talked who we'd love to see play the characters in a movie.. it was fun!

Other good news~ Scrapbook Trends Magazine (the same one publishing my layout in Oct) has contacted Laura at The Digi Chick. The article author has requested one of my kits (City Limits: Uptown Chic) to feature in an article and as a mini-album in the Nov issue! Awesome! Its great Publicity for me, TDC, and for Digi! Very cool! The mag is a bit hard to find, I had to go to my local Scrapbook Store to get it (Couldn't find it at Walmart or Barnes and Noble). I liked it enough to order a subscription this morning, so I also won't miss all my stuff getting pubbed.

Todays agenda~ the park and I have to get to Sears to buy more Vaccuum bags. We are out and the floor is ick!

Yesterday I finished a kit near and dear to my heart, and I LOVE it. Its one of my faves! I can't wait to scrap with it! Seth's Charm~

Seth's Charm is a kit inspired by the boyishness my son exhuberates. I wanted to create something masculine, vintage, and yet classy, in colors sure to suit all of the men in your life. Included in Seth's Charm are 8 textured papers, 3 twill, 2 tags, 2 fasteners, brass tag, button, hinge, hinged photo frame, medallion, word art, and stitching. Also included is a full alpha and numeral made to look like stamped typewriter keys.

You can find Seth's Charm at A Cherry on Top, right HERE.

Seth has really taken off in his love for Elmo! He recognizes the Elmo's World song and comes running in yelling "eh-mo, eh-mo!" He also loves to see Elmo on his Pampers and laughs at him. Totally cute. Its making me think about doing an Elmo Birthday party for him.

Thanks for the comments on my SIL's house... maybe I didn't share since so many of you had asked questions. They are also a pastor and pastor's wife, and they were living in the church parsonage. That means the house belongs to the church. Well, the church had plans to tear it down, which would have left my SIL and family looking for their own place to buy. Now this house is GORGEOUS. Lovely woodowork inside, very spacious... such a shame to see torn down. So my SIL and BIL obtained the house from the church, and then purchased lot of land (thanksfully only 2 blocks away). Thus, the house moving. What a site!

YAY! Outlander chat tonight at The Digi Chick! 10 pm EST! See you there!!

wednesday....

Whelp, I was wrong... LOL! When I met with my Dr this morning, she went ahead and changed my EDD to March 20! She said that she was going by fetus size and not by the fetus plus amniotic sac size that the tech went by for the 3.17 date.

My dad's Bday is the 23rd... so I'd kinda like to hold out till then! I am kinda sad though, today would have been 8 weeks for me.. now I am back to just 7 again! LOL!

Also amusing.. when I shared the US with Seth, he immediately started "meowing." LOL! I guess he saw a cat in there!

I am working on something nice and boyish for ACOT. I should have it done by this weekend, so be on the lookout. I'm calling it Seth's Charm for right now.

I also realized that I havn't given a blog gift away in a while... so lo and behold, something fun for you today! Enjoy! There is only one link, so once it's gone... sorry! I will also tell you that the buckle with the bow is NOT included. Sorry!

Get it here: LINK

I am pretty excited! I just called and made reservations at my college for Homecoming this October! I can't wait! I havn't been down there in a few years, and this will be the 5 yr reunion. I am really hoping that bunches of the old gang will be able to make it. I know that it might be a bit hard too, since so many of us have babies and work lives now. But Nate and I are going, and its going to be great! Did you know that I am third generation of alumni at Toccoa Falls College? My grandparents will also be at Homecoming, and I ADORE spending time with them, and can every chance I get.

Also, I think I shared earlier about my sister in law who was moving their house. We didn't get a chance to witness it ourselves, b/c we were at Camp, but Gen sent me a picture, and I thought I'd share. Pretty amazing!

She said it took all day to move 2 blocks, and the only thing that fell over inside was a filing cabinet. WOW!

Happy Wednesday!

Burns Bean #2

Here you go!

Everything looks great! I was measuring a little small, the put a new EDD for March 17, but knowing my Dr, she is going to keep my original at March 14. HB was fantastic, in the mid 160's. I am a tiny bit dissapointed there weren't two in there, LOL... maybe next time! (Yep, we'd like a third!) The US tech found a small cyst on one of my ovaries, but that its quite normal for early pregancy, and that it'll go away on its own in the next few weeks.

And now for something else exciting!

You've been reading the book... or you've heard the big buzz, so come on over and chat romance, time travel, and edge of the seat action!

Where is everyone? Did ya'll all go on vacation? LOL, I hope not!
