Portrait Party #3

Saturday, Oct 4 my lovely friend just over the state line in VA, helped me host another Portrait Party. Here are some of my favorites from that day, of the 4 families that participated.

As you can see, I did a big mix of both studio and outdoor stuff. I had a great time, all of the families were really lovely to meet. I'm really blessed in the sense that my hostesses know such great people. And seriously... can these kids be any cuter?

AWWWWW! Knowing all the people in these pictures - I think you did an amazing job capturing their personalities, which I don't feel is always done in photos....you're very talented Andrea!

Wow! I have always admired your photography, but I attributed some of it to the undeniable beauty of your children. Now I see that all children look beautiful when you photograph them and it is your style that I have been admiring all along. The black and whites are amazing, and I like what you do with their skin in the portraits and also how there seems to be a bit of light behind the subjects. Is that Photoshop or lighting?

ACK!! Too gorgeous! My favorite is that spiky-haired boy. I bet his mother will ALWAYS treasure that photo! Can you remind me what kind of lighting you use? I remember when you bought them but can't remember which ones you recommended. You are a FANTASTIC artist!

I think you did a fantastic job - I can see such great personality in each of these! I think my faves are the first one of the boy in the hat and the one of the two girls who look like they could be twins - adorable!
